Leave Block List

Leave Block List is a list of dates in a year, on which employees cannot apply for leave.

Prerequisites

Before creating a Leave Block List, it is advisable you create the following documents:

            • Company
            • Department
            • Leave Period
            • Holiday List

  1. Click on 'Leave Block List’ under [Setup] section and you will arrive at Leave Block List Listing.
  2. Click ‘+ Add Leave Block List’ to create a new Leave Block List.
  3. Give this Leave Block List a name.
  4. Enter Block Date and Reason in the 'Leave Block List Dates' table.
  5. (Optional) Select user that can approve Leave Applications for Blocked Days in the 'Leave Block List Allowed' table.
  6. Click Save and Submit and a new Leave Block is created.

Notes:

  1. Tick 'Applies to Company' option if you want the Leave Block List to be applicable for the entire Company. If not checked, the list will have to be added to each Department where it has to be applied manually.
