Shift Type

The Shift Type document allows you to define the different types of Shifts in your Organization

Navigation : Home > My Shift & Attendance > Shifts > Shift Type

Prerequisites

Before creating a Shift Type, it is advisable you create the following documents:

            • Holiday List

  1. Click on “Shift Type” under [Shifts] section and you will arrive at Shift Type Listing View
  2. Click on “+ Add Shift Type” button on top right corner.
  3. Give this Shift Type a name.
  4. Select both Start and End Time for this Shift.
  5. You can select a Holiday List for this Shift.
  6. Click Save to create new Shift Type.

Notes:

  1. Holiday List: The applicable holidays for this shift can be selected here. If left blank, the default holiday list from the employee master or the company document is taken into account. Attendance is not marked if it's a holiday.
