Payroll Period
A Payroll Period is a period for which Employees get paid for their occupation with the Company.
Navigation : Home > MY Salary > Masters > Payroll Period
- Click on ‘Payroll Period’ under [Masters] section and you will arrive at Payroll Period Listing
- Click ‘+ Add Payroll Period’ to create a new Payroll Period.
- Give this Payroll Period a name.
- Select Start Date and End Date of this Payroll Period.
- Click Save and Payroll Period will be created.
Notes:
- Payroll Period helps you define Salary Structures and to calculate tax for a specific period based on applicable Income Tax Slab.
- New Payroll Period date cannot overlap with existing Payroll Period.
