Payroll Period

A Payroll Period is a period for which Employees get paid for their occupation with the Company.

Navigation : Home > MY Salary > Masters > Payroll Period

  1. Click on ‘Payroll Period’ under [Masters] section and you will arrive at Payroll Period Listing
  2. Click ‘+ Add Payroll Period’ to create a new Payroll Period.
  3. Give this Payroll Period a name.
  4. Select Start Date and End Date of this Payroll Period.
  5. Click Save and Payroll Period will be created.

Notes:

  1. Payroll Period helps you define Salary Structures and to calculate tax for a specific period based on applicable Income Tax Slab.
  2. New Payroll Period date cannot overlap with existing Payroll Period.
